Meet the Team

Matt Lindley

VP Human Performance

As Vice President of Human Performance at Verpora, Matt leads the application of flight-deck management techniques to help teams perform under pressure. Drawing on his experience as a Royal Air Force pilot and commercial airline captain, he and his team of pilot consultants adapt aviation’s most effective communication and decision-making tools for use in corporate environments. These are scaled across global client engagements through tailored workshops and keynotes.

A former Royal Squadron pilot, Matt served on 32 (The Royal) Squadron, flying members of the Royal Family and government ministers worldwide. He now flies long-haul services out of London for a major airline. Earlier in his career, he worked at Ford Motor Company, where he introduced Japanese management techniques into automotive operations.

Matt’s specialty is Human Performance Factors, using proven cockpit frameworks to improve outcomes in high-stakes settings. As head of PROPEL, he focuses on decision-making, leadership, and teamwork in industries where performance and safety are critical.

His work emphasizes structured debriefing, inclusionary decision-making that flattens authority gradients, and the neuroscience of stress and trust. These principles help shape effective behaviour, improve execution, and build lasting team capability.
