Andrew Wiles

Andrew Wiles leads Verpora’s technical operations and data infrastructure. He is responsible for Verpora’s data warehouse architecture, internal IT operations, and the integrity and secuirty of the platforms that support both consulting and product delivery.

Andrew began his career in the aviation industry as a Development Manager at Rolls-Royce before moving into the software sector, where he led technology teams at SAS Institute and several high-growth start-ups. His expertise in advanced Microsoft technologies brought him into healthcare data, where he played a pioneering role in enabling pharmaceutical manufacturers to utilize hospital episode statistics for analysis and strategy.

He is an approved Research Innovator with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and serves as the licensed custodial authority for accessing record-level claims data covering more than 40 million beneficiaries. In this capacity, he supports the responsible use of Medicare data in innovative contract design.

Andrew also leads Verpora’s Information Security Management Systems, including Cyber Essentials certification and preparation for ISO 27001 accreditation, ensuring the company’s technical infrastructure meets rigorous governance and security standards.
